iMobileIntervals offers a variety of features for creating and managing interval workouts. Users can build complex interval workouts with optional voice prompting, utilize workouts from various online libraries, and display workout details along with YouTube videos on TV through Chromecast. The app allows for the import of files via email or TrainingPeaks app, controls WahooFitness KICKR & SNAP trainers, connects to ANT+ or BluetoothLE sensors, and supports remote display/control options.

In terms of performance data and location services, iMobileIntervals supports Bluetooth Low Energy sensors, ANT+ stride sensors, speed sensors, and power meters. It utilizes GPS for speed/distance/pace information when necessary and enables direct uploads to platforms like Strava, Garmin Connect, TrainingPeaks, and iMobileIntervals.com.

The app allows for customizable time-based intervals, open-ended workouts, and interval graphs for detailed display. Users can also set up workout intervals that end based on specific criteria or use the built-in iPod music player to enhance their training experience.

Among the additional features are the ability to collect data in the background, post completed workouts on Facebook automatically, create ad hoc workouts within the app, and set up intervals with various parameters. The platform supports public sharing of workouts, group collaborations, training plan management, and notifications for upcoming workouts.

It's important to note that prolonged use of GPS can drain battery life significantly, but iMobileIntervals optimizes location services to be used only during active workouts. The app remains functional even without constant GPS tracking enabled for non-location based features.
